EIIL Events - Benefit for our members
http://www.eiil.net
Originally positioned as a project of the International Club of Engineers and Industrialists (CIII), of which the IMechE Benelux Branch is a founder member, the European Instititue for Industrial Leadership (EIIL) aims to serve the European technology-led and manufacturing industries, and their partners, by improving the business leadership qualities of engineers, technologists and scientists through the provision and promotion of highly relevant post graduate education and training.
The branch committee will continue to support the activities of the EIIL, as a means of providing an exciting programme of evening prestige lectures, for the benefit of our branch members, initially Brussels, but eventually in Den Haag. The forward programme of EIIL evening prestige lectures will be announced on the branch web-site &/or newsletter, and in Agenda.
Sponsorship of this lecture programme enables the EIIL to cover the costs of some of its visiting faculty, all leading practitioners of industry leadership from across Europe, and some with additional interests which have already shown their enhanced appeal to a more general membership.
It also enables branch members to participate, at preferential discounted rates, in any of the workshop seminars of the EIIL's Master of Industrial Leadership programme; a modular post-graduate level training programme tailored to the needs of professional engineers looking to develop themselves as future leaders in European industry. Designed for just the profile of participant that is represented by the IMechE's Benelux Branch membership, details of the forthcoming seminar programme in Brussels can be found on the EIIL web-site www.eiil.net/Programme.htm
About the EIIL
The European Institute for Industrial Leadership (EIIL) www.eiil.net was initiated by a network of senior business leaders, venture capitalists, and representatives of engineering professions across Europe. Following their 'Leaders of Industry' survey and conference in Brussels in November 2003, the EIIL was established as a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to helping to stimulate growth in Europe's technology-led and manufacturing industries by providing more highly educated and better trained business leaders who are able to master technology and growth internationally, and rise to the challenges of a unique home market with over 430 million consumers.
The EIIL, advocates the view that business decision-making in the technology-led and manufacturing sectors requires a fundamental understanding of technology and of the processes of innovation and manufacture, as well as of all the tools of business in a multicultural environment.
