The petroleum industry in the Netherlands is the largest employer of the Branch's members. Of a total of 72 members working in the industry, 56 of them work for companies within the Royal Dutch Shell Group. The motor industry in Belgium and Luxembourg is the second largest employer. About 20 Branch members are employed at companies like Toyota (7), Delphi Automotive Systems (4) and Goodyear (4). The rest of the membership is spread over a range of industries. Most of them work for companies or organisations that employ only one or two IMechE members and a few are self-employed.
