Dear Member,

I have pleasure in enclosing the announcement of the annual dinner to be held at the Château Gravenhof near Brussels on Saturday 27^th May. The Gravenhof is an 18^th century château in its own park with lake. It now operates as a 4-star hotel offering a first class cuisine, ample parking and easy access from the Brussels ring autoroute.

The date of the dinner has been chosen to coincide with the weekend visit of a group of IMechE colleagues from the South East Region. Your committee has arranged a programme of events for their visit. On Saturday at 15h00, we will visit the park and gardens of the Château Huizingen and on Sunday at 11h00, there will be a three-hour guided tour of the historic site of the battle of Waterloo. All Benelux Branch members and their partners are invited to participate.

The information below on hotels with good accommodation may interest members who wish to stay overnight. The hotels in the Waterloo area are all within a distance of 12 km from the Château Gravenhof.
