talks about CPD and how important it is for maintaining employability and achieving
career advancement. Unfortunately, not all employers have the resources to
provide the necessary training. Indeed, there are many courses around,
organised by commercial training providers. However, they don’t come cheap,
and in our region they are rarely in the English language. Know the
problem? We at Benelux Branch want to do something about it. We have teamed
up with the IEE young members for organising an interpersonal skills seminar
in Brussels, free of charge and in the English language. The trainer will be
the IEE’s Lifeskills Officer, who will come over from the UK for this event. There
will be two modules: Presentation
Skills - introduction to effective presentations and key steps for success
when speaking in public Negotiation
Skills - bargaining to acceptable results, including an interactive game! Location SRBII,
